Next level? I see screens, DVD player, video game console.....yep, seen that done before....to death. Because he packed so many in the car is seen as the next level? That would be like loading a door with as many 5 1/4 2-ways as could possibly fit and saying it was taken to the next level. Or that guy with the 32" TV in the the passenger dash/footwell of his 70's Oldsmobile. Is that taking it to the next level? That Explorer just has more of the same thing all the way through it. And I don't see any cutting edge and innovative installation methods or materials. Just a whole bunch of yards of fleece, gallons of resin and bondo. Time and money? Yes, I bet it took a lot of it. Am I supposed to be impressed because the time and money was spent on signal splitters, screens and sanding? No.

Do you really believe this is a 'show quality' CAR AUDIO install? Could it hope to compete even semi-competitively in any CAR AUDIO sanctioning body? not likely.
Is it more of a SEMA or general Car Show show vehicle? yes.

obviously the "Next Level" desired in this install is to get more people to spend more money. after all, that is all the distributor really wants.
and about the whole "there's lots of people around the car at shows" BS; There's lots of people around a car wreck where a drunk driver ran over a pregnant woman and killed her, along with her unborn child... only that install is slightly more tragic.
The workmanship is grade-A, the craftsmanship appears to be good overall. The concept is crap. It's impressive in the complete lunacy of the idea, it's impressive that any installer would think that it's worth his time to complete it, but it's not impressive to put 72 TV's in an SUV. Doing what's already been done by thousands, but doing it over, and over, and over, and over doesn't make you a leader in the car audio industry, it makes you a follower who has no idea when to stop.
You might get a better response on a "Canadian Car Video" than here.

Hey
I think the SUV is intersing. IMO it would have been even more interesting if he had used a HUD and projected the display across the whole (or part of) windshield. The taillight mod is cool, especially since they can be swapped back to the original unit. Are there any newer pics?
