Does anyone know these guys at all?
I recently went in and was going to get a bunch of equipment installed.
I went over everything with they guy and we agreed on how things should go.
I booked an appointment to drop my vehicle off for the install, in the meantime he was going to get to work on the down firing center console box for the single 10".
I gave him a deposit of $50(on Visa) to begin the work, and left the driver (10" Cadence Beast 10-4).
Since then the shop has been deserted and no one answers the phone no matter what time I call.
I'm pretty choked about this and plan to get my money and driver (or equal $ value) back one way or another.
Any suggestions / information for me?
Thanks,
The Hammer

yeah, they went out for a bit not to come back.
Try contacting a few shops around town, maybe JT might know how to get ahold of them?
Any smart installer wouldnt list thier home number in the book. Nothing like getting calls at 3am.

Wow that majorly sucks. Something you don't always expect to happen when you want something installed.
I got this from their home page. Maybe look up this guy:
In 2001, Cory Hodson took possession of Toys & Tunes in Kamloops, British Columbia with a goal to forge a company dedicated to delivering the finest mobile electronics, vehicle accessories, and services in the Frazer Valley. Today, Toys & Tunes has not only achieved this goal but continues to surpass it everyday with total commitment and dedication.

Going out of business does not "just happen"
Assuming that "The Hammer"s appointment wasn't booked a month or more in advance, the shop would have known full well when he left his money and his woofer that they weren't going to be around when he came back.
Kamloops isn't too big - track the guy down.

I thought they just moved downtown? They had a place down the street from Kal Tire. In the same little strip as the auto glass place and the chinese restaraunt, across from that new Perto Canada, kinda by ICBC.
Anyway, I found Toy's N Tunes shady from the first time I visited their shop.

They seemed like they were just moving into the 'new place' on Victoria Street when I went to see them.
Place was a mess, and sparse.
Looks even more deseted now with a few discarded newspapers inside the front door.
I'm not at all upset by them going out of business or not being able to do the job for me.
But you better beleave it's worth more than the value of my speaker and the $50 for me to make sure this is set right. I DON'T like being taken.
Kamloops isn't that big where this sort of action can be gotten away with that easily.
Not hard to spot a fancy red truck.
or the Owner of the truck.
What made you think 'shady' Whacker?
