transfer system from old to new!

Hey guys finally got a new car and finally got my system rebuilt and installed.

The old car was a 99 grand am gt, the new is a 2012 Chevy Cruze LTZ RS

still the same system, a 13.5" W7 powerd by a clarion monoblock.

Heres pics of the old:

and the new:

So as u can see a little different. Lookin at WIREZ 0 AWG battary to back, regular ac delco battary. Will upgrade later. All being run off the stock GM head unit for now. Also going to be adding a BIG 3 upgrade later.

Heres the two cars for the curious.

Any questions concernes are welcome. As a matter of fact. Im wondering what would be the best most efficent way to fix the headlight dimming?

Any ideas?

Special Thanks to my boy Larry And Ray at base electonics welland ontario.

looking good so far!

i just picked up a cruze myself, so i am very interested to see what you do with the build!

where did you hide the second amp?
is the box infinite baffle, or is it just inverted in an enclosure?

as for power, with any car,
- big three
- alternator
- battery
-appropriate wiring
- efficient amp

check off most of those boxes and dimming shouldn't be an issue

Small battery in the trunk should nearly eliminate that issue altogether.
Was running something similar in a GM, stock everything up front with a small battery in the back - bang, problem solved.

You gotta be careful because you could be sending shitty signals to the sub with a lack of power going to the amp ... really straining the amplifiers.

Yeah i got a little space beside the box so i may add a second battary. Idk what u mean by baffle? Its inverted in a box if ur talking about mounting its a plate with a 14" hole behind it sub mounted to the plate. There is no second amp right now everythings being run off the stock right now

ya, i wasn't sure if it was inverted in an enclosure or you were using the trunk itself as the enclosure.
