two choices...

I can't comment on the MB Quarts but I'm running a pair of the 6010cs up front off of an Alpine MRP-F450 amp (70 watts rms / ch.) and I'm happy with them.
I know for sure they'd sound even better if I swapped out my HU for a Clarion or Eclipse or something.
Dunno if its much help but that's my experience with them.

both are good brands, and good products in their range. I think you should listen to both before you buy though, also I believe the Quarts use a titanium tweeter as opposed to a silk dome for the Infinity's. This could affect your decision, as titaniums tend to be a little more aggressive.

It really depends on what your ears like. The best route would be a side-by-side comparison where you are listening to a song and you can flip back and forth between the two. But that is only possible when a store is selling both.
If that option is possible, set all the EQs on the receivers and amps to flat so you'll have the speakers seeing a reasonably true signal.
I compared infinity 6000cs once with an MB quart system (I forget the model). Hands down I loved the MB quart; they sounded beautiful! But it wasn't a fair price point comparison because the MB quarts cost $75 more, so naturally you would expect better sound.
