Question

Opinions on whether it is better to build two smaller boxes as opposed to one larger box. For example...2-1cube boxes for 2 10" subs or 1-2cube box for 2 10" subs. Opinions on strenth, versatility and SQ plus anyone with experience trying both ways with the same subs.

i think it depends a lot on how you will be using your system...i have 3 L7's and i phoned kicker directly...explained to them what kind of music i like and they told me that for my use i should build each sub with its own enclosure...

with one box you get an accurate tuning (if you port the 2 boxes) - say you have 2 boxes, you might screw up one of the tuning measurements.

why not just use a big box?
