hello. I was wondering what every elses ultimate t3 1000d amp was running at temperature wize?
What do you consider too hot that you shut it off for a while? Mine seems to hover around 40-45. The hottest i ever got it was 48 and that was with a pillow on top of it and I thot it was rather hot.
Also mine is in operation in my basement not my car. If i just let it sit there with no music playing, with it supported off the carpet to get better cooling it will display 36.

i have the same amp. under a decent load it will be around 30-40 but thats in a cold trunk. your temps seem safe, my old amp would get so hot it could burn you.

 

i have a 500d and its not 1 ohm stable but for fun i thought id run it anyways and it got hotter then that

 

DONT DO THAT!!!

ive burnt up a T3-1000d running it at 1 ohm. ran for an 30 min then went up in smoke.

 

meh its only an amp lol
