I was on Tims website yesterday as a matter of fact.. Brought a tear to my eye.. lovely, absolutely lovely!
Thank you sir !

Now if PAS would get off their butt and finally take the pictures of my Accord life would be good It's only been a year and 3 attempts

I should just send in my own.......

As President of Karz Electronics and organizer of "Team Canada" for this years Installer Challenge at CES, I thought it was important to clear up some confusion.
I have known Robert Garza, President of Select Products and the originator of The Installer Challenge for many years. I had noticed over the years that the teams fielded at the events were all from the USA. I dreamed of the day of putting up a "Team Canada" to bring home the GOLD.
Well that day arrived this year. As the new Director of Sales & Marketing for Focal, Robert called me about being the speaker sponsor for the event. During our negotiation we agreed that having a "Canada vs. USA" Challenge would be great. It was up to Karz Electronics to field the team, and come up with five people that showed what Canada had to offer.
Phil Nease, our National Sales Manager and I came up with a long list of individuals that we thought best represented what we were looking for. I have been in the industry for 23+ years and still do not know of every single talent of every single installer in this great country. It amazes me that when I know the people who have posted to this thread do not know every talent of the selected "Team Canada" that you would make some of the comments you have made!
This team is comprised of what Phil and I thought were some of the best people in the industry. Are they the best? As I said before, I cannot answer that, because I do not know of all of you. We can tell you that these five people possess some of the best technical talents we have seen, but most importantly, all of them have the people skills and the personality to work together as one "Team" for three days under extreme pressure without letting their egos get in the way. Many fine people were contacted, but could not be added to the list for various reasons. These people included Keith Walker, Chris Bouzalas, Cam Mitchell and Moe Sabourin.
"Team Canada" is not compromised of "Larry Penn's dealers", we are not that "lame". This team was chosen based on relationships that Phil or I had with these individuals. Relationships that we value and trust. So instead of all this negativity and grumbling about who should have been chosen, how about all of us, in true Canadian style, wish these guys the best. Canada Rocks!
