These amps have been used lots in the field. I understand what Jordy's saying and know that we know what not to do, and now there is no issue. A D2 is hugh money compaired to one of these demos. So where as a Earthquake may have a reverse polarity circuit these do not. I can't hold everyones hand when installing I can just try to inform them the best I can. Once fed and connected properly then the issues goes away. I'm not bent out of shape over your comments they are valid points and you are respected by me and the board. But a company that replaces an amp regardless of the problem be it installation, user error or defective and even replaces an amp 2 years out of warranty has something to be said for. Even Earthquake would not do that. This company stands 100% behind all of its equipment and its a Over the Counter exchange warranty. Thats damn good.

You're right, poor installation can blow an amp, but the numbers I've seen from these amps is unusually high.

The thread you also referenced only had 2 Dead 1000d's one which was a admitted mistake that blew it. And 1 500D and one with a gain upside down. Not a third. I know im nit picking but like I said for the amount I have moved they are not that prone to failure. Thats all

oh ok.
Ps: ohw much does it damage the amp when you feed 17 volts through it?
i hooked up my batterycharger to my car to listen to music outside and the volt display messured ~17 volts when i turn it to 200 amps. i didnt keep it at 200 amps i left it at 10.
but is this good or bad?

Remember all companies have a return rate. Even the best companies.
