I've uploaded a couple of fun WAV files you can listen to:

http://www.adireaudio.com/Files/Dan/XBL-IMD-Test.wav

and

http://www.adireaudio.com/Files/Dan/UH-IMD-Test.wav

These are the results of equal BL/Fs/Vas drivers, each optimized as best as possible. We ran simultaneously 70 Hz and 735 Hz into each driver, and pushed each driver to 70% of linear excursion. Then recorded the results. The two 4 second wave files above.

Take a listen, which one do you think sounds better? Remember, you should only hear 70 Hz and 735 Hz. Everything else you hear is distortion - Intermodulation distortion.

We did this set of files (and will have more coming, too) to show the audible benefits of XBL^2 motors. It's one thing to see it in writing; it's another to actually hear the differences.
