Unlocking Kenwood Deck
#1
I've bought a kenwood deck from a member here, and it's locked. I have the code, but have no idea how to enter it. The instructions he game me are wrong.. The buttons I've been toldto push don't even exist on the deck. The remote was not included with the deck.
Is it not possible to do it without the remote?
If it's not, I sure wish I was told that it would be locked and I couldn't possibly unlockit before I payed for the deck...

Bensta - some decks have a feature where if you remove power for XX amount of time you have to enter a code to use it again. Some stock decks have this.
IMO it's a useless theft deterrent and usually only comes into play when an unsuspecting owner changes cars or sells it and now the damned thing is locked and nobody has the code...
