Unusual Front Stage (PIC)

Guys Guys Guys
Haven't you all realized yet that It doesn't matter how it sounds. It all about having top of the line, painted glass installs, chrome plated, and the largest rims you can get on the vehicle regarless how it looks.
Since this looks really nice It must sound good...rigth
On a serious note I can almost guarentee that everything comes off the door, and floor in this car. Every Driver all on different angles equals one nigthmare of a sound stage

shouldn't really matter what way midbass are firing... and the midrange look they are firing right at you... so that should be all good...
Iam not sure if he has the tweeters positioned the greatest... but who knows...
You can't always tell how a system will sound just by looking at it....
IMO...

Interesting interesting...
Start with the product:
I'd almost think those were the Focal TLR's in the pods - but they aren't.
In fact - my mind doesn't want to accept it as possible - but could those be the Beryllium tweets, from the $60,000 (USD) Focal JM Labs Grand Utopia cabinets?
They sure look like them - I could be wrong, it's been months since I saw the Grand Utopias up close and in person.
Anyway - the install.
I agree that the midbass angles - who cares.
With the mid - it's up a bit high for a traditional driver - but this is Europe after all, and they do things like mounting six sets of 6x9's on hatch covers and things.
But on a serious note, it does look like it's angled at least in such a way [and the dash meeting it oddly enough] that you might believe that some listening time went into angling it - if not positioning it.
And with experience aiming Focal Utopia sets (granted, this is a Polykevlar set with some - possibly very interesting - tweet), you'll realize that these things often need some odd aiming and care - I am generally a fan of keeping my tweets by my mids when possible... and I haven't found it possible, with the Utopia tweet, in any install I've had - I believe because its directionality.
Generally, I've located them high - and aimed them straight across to the other side in one way or another - but possibly this works well for this particular tweet.
...it sure as hell would have been easier simply integrating that tweeter into the A-pillar there, firing them at each other as my Utopia experiences generally have led me, and would have been just as flashy - so maybe there really is an acoustical reason for these odd pods!
I only know one thing -
Good or bad, I wish I could hear it.
I'm sure at least something about that install would surprise me - and that would be fun.

There is a car locally that has those all-holy berilium tweets in it. Cost the guy around $4k to get them. Install is okay. Of course it has the requisite Audison amps and the rest of it is Focal. Newer Mercedes.
