USACi event in Calgary

Excellent pics Dereck. Bidnyk has some good pics too on his page. I see a lot of fugliness in the SPL cars , alot of money thrown at the 'showy' cars but unfortunately some don't have the install to back up the cash and also just some outright nice looking setups. To those folks, good work
So who did the soundcheck on these cars? Let's hear some opinions of auditions!

I listened to a few of the cars.In my personal order I would say I liked them in this order, Dave's (Chev2), James (westec), Dave's (Defro), Bryce's (bootlegguy), that guy with that red car, and finally John's (Icon), to be fair I listened to a movie in John's and his was definately the best for cruisin. Remember this is just personal opinion and not necessarily how I would score the cars in Competition, and the first three were basically all very close.

i had a great time, met some new people, got to put faces to names. james and everyone did a good job at the show. the weather was great and the beverages were frosty. i had a chance to listen to bryces car and thought it sounded nice, i think he won his class, congrats. i had a chance to listen to westecs neon and once he gets some free time to work on it, his car will be great. i had fun competing for the 1st time in 7 or 8 years, not too sure if its something i'll do again but we'll see, i said that if i won the show i'd go to usac finals, i'm not to sure i want to drive 1900 miles to kansas city. btw dwvw i was in advanced pro 601+. i wish i had gotten a chance to listen to the other cars that were in my class but the only one i new was in my class was the red s2000, i think his name was wade? sorry if thats wrong. he looked familiar to me for some reason, someone told me he used to do iasca back when i used to, maybe that the connection, dunno. dwvw do you know what other cars were in my class ?, great pics by the way

Not sure who was in your class. I used to bring a little notepad with me to write down info on who I photographed and results, but I am too lazy now. Hopefully James will post the results here, as he has the scoresheets etc. to make it official. So how was the Mountain Crest sponsorship working for you
