Very old school mtx blue thunders
I have recently aquired 2 12" single 4 ohm subs and cant find any specs online.
If there is any old school guys on here that can help out id appreciate it alot. These are the old old ones that have a blue paper cone and rubber surround. Im using them in a sealed box and they are pretty impressive, i would like to tinker around and make a ported box which is why i need specs, thanx in advance

So did I...2-BTW 1244, dual 4ohm, 38 oz magnets, 2" vc, and 150 watts rms, running stereo off an Alpine 3554 (150x2) amp c. 1989-90...great sounding subwoofers. I still remember the first time I cranked it and the feeling in my stomach...can never get that again! I had mine in a 4 cube, ported box tuned to about 40 hz if i recall.

wasn't until 93 that they were changed...not because I wanted to...bastards stole my whole system while i was at the movies! They got the mother load...Denon DCC-8570 deck, Altec Lansing Als 50.1 components, and Als 46 plates in the back, 2 Alpine 3554's, the MTX's, custom box, and they f**ked up my interior and door panels!!
