I am trying to source a vinyl adhesive in the Kitchener-Waterloo area...

I did research on here and and CarSound, and found that most people recomended DAP weldwood or DAP Landau Top adhesives.

I have looked at all the major stores (Home Depot, Rona, Home Hardware, Walmart) and cannot seem to find this stuff anywhere (Home Depot and Walmart carry DAP products, but not their adhesives).

Does anyone know where I might find such a product? I only need a small amount as I'm just putting vinyl on my sail panels.

Thanks.

you could also use contact cement but NOT the solvent free kind it's ****. I've used it a bout 2 yrs ago and my doors are still good no pealing or bubbleing.

Would something like LePage contact cement be alright then? I just wasn't sure if it would be alright with the heat or not, and didn't want to risk having to redo my work in a few years.

well, it's the sail panels that I'm doing, which are ABS, so stapling definately isn't an option. I have a heat gun as well, is that what you would recomend to install the vinyl (as you can tell, I've never used it before). It shouldn't be a big job...I just need to cover up the panels because they have a hole in them from my previous tweeters.

I think he's concerned about the staple coming through from the backside of the abs and poking throught the front side, which would then be visible through the vinyl.

I don't have access to an air stapler, so that's not really an option anyways. I also have an inside corner on one side, so I'll have to glue that as well...I think I have an idea how it should work now though.
