Visions in the Hat?

Failure to read instruction manual = blown amplifier for a start. They wired subs incorrect to start, next they ran them to what would normally be a set of bridged outputs on any given 2 channel amp. In this case however, the amp is not bridgeable. It is a dual mono sub amp, the Eclipse DA7232, so no bridging. It is a 2 ohm dual mono amp. They wired it to 4 ohm mono.
Next big nasty heavy subs need a proper mount. 2.5" screws into 3/4" mdf does not constitute a good mount. The screws are ripping out of the box due to the weight of the subs.
Finally and this one takes the cake, they built the box and did not clean out the mdf dust from the inside. So the subs are now full of dust and the box is full of dust. I was not about to go and clean up their mess. I could have but felt it was much more important for them to see the error in their ways. As the customer cannot use his subs anyhow...... why not wait until he gets home and goes to see the installer who did the system.
Now I am under the impression that he had the box made for him by Visions, if he made it himself then he is at fault, however, this does not excuse not cleaning the box out when mounting the subs, nor thinking about the subs and their weight causing them to rip the screws from the box.
Thanks for looking into it Shaughn, it might be a rookie mistake but it is best to catch now rather than later.

Chad is the install mgr.
I don't think he had the amp manual when it was done and it sounds like the customer has had the system apart himself at one point.

Customer does not know his way around an audio system. He was back again today, looking further into the install shows the rear speakers mounted with 2 screws each and they only work when the trunk lid is raised as the terminals short out on the tensioning bars when the trunk is closed. The rca cable stretched for the sub amp has no continuity in the center lead on both channels. This car is an absolute bloody mess Shaughn.
Normally I would not spark up about something like this, but god, I have 2 more pages of the little book of horrors. Shaughn, give those guys a smack upside the head something fierce. They drastically need improvement in their work. I am not going to dig into the balance of the install at all, partly as I am scared at what I will find and secondly I am scared that if I disturb something, it too will no longer work.
I tested a second amp in the vehicle and the original Eclipse is indeed blown. The customer will be heading back for warranty work. Personally if I was this customer, I would want the entire thing removed and reinstalled by a different installer.
There are also 4 mounting holes drilled through the sheet metal of the vehicle on the right rear amplifier. 4 holes for one screw..... now let's go look on the other side....yup 2 + a nick on the other side.
Shaughn, an install like this makes no installer in the industry look good and it makes Visions look extremely bad. I had originally asked the customer to go to Dereck, somehow I wish he would have based on what I see infront of me today. If I was the installer or an employee of Visions, I most certainly would be totally embarrassed by such a lack of professionalism.
