my 5.25 diamond hex crapped out on me recently im not sure when exactly but i took it apart and it looks like everthing is ok to me i cant see any broken or disconected wires and the voicecoil doesnt look burnt to me i tried to attatch some pics we'll see if they worked and are clear enough...i took them with my phone

im guessing its hooped i was looking at getting pheonix gold Ti5 mids and using the diamond tweets still or JBL 5.25 gti comps which would you think be better im powering it with a pdx 150.4 2 channels to the midbass in the doors then 2 channels to the comps in kick panels

 

Often times the connection of the tinsel lead at the coin/voice cracks, but the glue around it holds it together so it looks fine, but doesn't play
