how do you get the 4 ohm load with a dual 4 ohm sub?

buy a second dual 4 ohm sub - otherwise you're stuck with 2ohm or 8ohms with one

will an 8 ohm load ruin a sundown saz2000d? how would you get the 8 ohm load? one positive from a set of posts and one negative from the other?
i think i was running my little oem image dynamics on around 1000 watts then...

higher loads don't ruin amps, they make them work less hard, therefore giving less power. It's the lowers ohms that can hurts amps, depending on what they're designed to do. You may only get like 250 watts at 8 ohms on that amp.

Run the amp at 2ohms and drop your gain.
