well this is a dissapointment

*DING DING*

time for round two...

I have the mille's on my Audison SRX2S now, and about 4 days after hooking them up to it, it happens again. I have the gain turned wayyyy down.. (rated 180 rms at 4 ohms) and crossed over at 50, with the eq running down the notes around 50 hertz as well. But no, it still happened.. the speakers move about 1/2 of what I had them doing before.. but it still happened. I have to say though that the surrounds are ROCK hard with the cold (I have an in-car heater as well).

Sounds to me it's manufacture process defect! I wouldn't waste more of your time but that just me!

I've seen customers in the past beat the **** out of Type R, Kenwoods ect at full range with the Bass @ +12 - and still take it!

Good luck

Cold? I've lived in really cold climates -35 and I've never seen a speaker do that!
How long was it sitting in the cold b4 u turned it on.

Man if my Focal's did that I would freak!

The only time I've seen that happen before was with a batch of bad glue...

If they don't warranty that, start dealing with another company.

its not glue... the surround is tearing.. and they do warranty it.. but when this is the THIRD speaker to do it.. i'm getting very sceptical

Are there any other products in their price range you are interested in? $hit that retail shop should bump you up to the next best thing for all your aggravation!

I still think you should move on - but that me

BTW how is my old kenwood deck working?
