POSSIBLY will get these for CDT-CL-641 200$ u.s SHIPPED from the states. brand new and the woman never used them. they 100 rms per side BUT i really dont need the 4", but i think i cant run the speakers without ALL speakers connected.i just want to try the tweets/6.5, but i think i cant coz its a 3-way. is this true? anyway, give me ur thoughts! sorry about the large photo

definately looks like a nice set to me.. i've heard good things about CDT components "bang for buck" wise..

what do the rest of you think?

Yes you need to use the 4", it is the midrange and has a dedicated range of frequencies that they are given due to the crossover, remove the speakers, you have also removed those frequencies from being reproduced. As far as the line goes, time will tell.

but where can i place the 4" speakers IF i use the 6.5's in the door and then the tweets on the dash? but them somewhere in the rear?? i dont want to make a custom set-up right now. and i MUST use the 4" to get proper sound! oh, and it will be all amped!

well... i guess you CAN go without them for now... but i would DEFINITELY have the 4" installed...

No the 4" cannot go in the back, it must go up front somewhere, ideally close to the 6.5".

Best case - you buy the KPs I have that fit your car. Sure they're for 5.25s but I'd make adapter plates for you [/QB]

Tweeters on the dash, 4" in the kick panels and 6.5" in the doors. Nice big two channel giving it all lots of power.
