the answer to your question is very simple.

to power your sub properly you need an amp that is rated to produce around 250 RMS watts into a 4 ohm load.
its what i said from the get go.....

maybe i gave him more info than he asked, but none of it was useless

OP To make it even simpler, that Alpine you mentioned earlier would work great

Yeah! That Alpine deal might fall through...
How about that one from WalMart? And that AMP kit?
See Pics:

Amp says 550 Max /// (220 RMS 1 channel at 4ohm)

Amp Kit 270 watts // 150 RMS

Again, Thank You for all your Help!!!

If you want my personal opinion, I wouldn't touch that amp with a ten foot pole lol If that kit has 8 gauge power wire, it would work.

Ok, ! will stay away from WalMart
I'm one step closer to get this installed... I got my AMP!
I went with the Alpine V-Power MPR-M450. 220W RMS @ 4ohm

Yes I do!
I have a nice & clean setup & the bass is just right!
The only thing I have to fix is the vibrations from "I don't know what" in the trunk. lol
