now that i'm in the process of gettin 2 15 Strokers ... what amp is ideal to power this... i'm looking to get a seriously loud system so keep that in mind...
also any ballpark figures to go along with the amp u recommend would be really helpful.. what would be even better is a link to specs of the amp

Depends on what impedance config you want. If you get two SVC 4 ohm strokers, here's a few to take a look at:

Orion XTR PRO 2400D = 2400 RMS at 2 ohm.
Memphis MOJO = 2400 RMS at 2 ohm.
US Amps 2000, = 2000 RMS at 2 ohm (underrated)
US Amps 2000X = 2000 RMS (1 amp per sub)
Hardcore Riprock 500D = Some insane figure around 2000+ RMS at 2 ohm.

For Dual 4 ohm subs, two US Amps 2000's would work. 2 Mmats D300HC's, or the newer 1400.2 model, one per sub. It all depends how much money you want to throw down.
Oh, a couple PG 1200.1's would do nicely too.

Pricing varies unfortunately, so I can't get definite prices on these. Most shown here on this post are $1500+ a peice retail.

You have a lot of homework to do if you're going to research them all, 666. Have fun.
I'd just say pick one. Well, make sure it'll work for you at the final impedance.

Get a couple of the older style Kicker ZR-1000's.

Put one on each sub and wire it down as far as the amps will go(1-2Ohms, I can't remeber) and have a ported box built for them(BIG BOX).

I would think that's the cheapest way to go...I think ZR1000's are going for 5-600 bucks right now.

^Even less, I think. Those amps are 4 ohm mono stable from what I remember.

I can't remember what they were stable to but if you keep em cool, I bet they would go down to 2ohms.

I am pretty sure the Kicker ZR series were rated stable to 2.667 ohms. 2ohms was not a problem as long as it was kept fairly cool.

they will do only 900 @ 2ohms and around 1100-1300 @4ohms they were meant to be stable at 2 ohms bridged, and they are. People often think that the lower the load the more power you will get out of your amp. not always the case
