what amp(s) for two type x?

hey everyone. Got 2 type X's 10'' running at 2 ohms the end of last year. So i just used my mrd amps i had for the type R's i had. 605's i think and its only roughly half of the wattage the x's need.

So im looking for an alternative to buying 2 pdx 1000's, whats the suggestion? and price, im not looking to slouch out but if i can get one amp and save some money it would be nice. Or even 2, anything pretty much beats forking out for new pdx's.

thanks again.

What is your budget for new amps? I have a couple of monster that I am going to be selling below cost soon. 1500w rms into 2 ohms.

uhm how?
are they not rated for 1000 rms?....and i have 2 10's rated for 1000 each.

right now i have the 605's hooked up both pushing 600 per sub.

so would buying one pdx not be a downgrade of 200 watts or am i missing something?
