Just curious, what brand of head units have the most sound competitions in the last 5 years?(SQ only)

 

alpine or Eclipse i would say i do not know

In my days of competition (late '80s to mid '90s) if you didn't have an Alpine head unit, PPI amps, MB Quart speakers & JL subs it seemed like you'd have a hard chance of winning.

Today that has certainly changed; however, as there are some many more "brands" even though they might not be manufacturers.

 

The deck to use back then was a 7909.Mark Eldridge used one in his truck up till a few years ago.A 15 year old deck!

 

P9 Combo and Sony C-90's would be up there. Don't know how much but I'm guesing they should be included.
