What do you think will play music louder?

Take note that the term 'louder' doesn't necessarily mean on the TL. Louder could be defined by ear, or lets even say by the physical effect (ie. if you can feel it in your chest, etc)

A one note wonder that does 155+

OR

A daily setup that does ~145 on music

I watched Don's video post and the guy with his cup full of hater-ade on youtube comments, but just curious that if don were to play Hood Figga (i know it's not actually figga..) by gorilla zoe, how would that sound?

Depends on the frequency of the music, and what your tuned to... biggest part is that the db's drop off quickly with frequency response below tuning. So someone tuned lower, might not burp as loud but at the lower frequency could be louder.

eg. The guys that do 155 @ 60hz might not be able to hit 145 @ 35hz. Not to mention damage their speakers trying. This is sort of why tuning lower for music helps make music sound better by reproducing more of the frequency range. Now if the 155 guy found a "music" song that uses his frequency he would obviously win hands down. Make that 155 guy play a song tuned way lower than his tuning and the guy doing 145's tuned low might just win....

well in my old set up i could play music over 150. Bart, Paul and a few others sat in and its just nuts. Not much wind but it hit the high notes real hard. Almost made my ears bleed a few times. i would go for the 155 its a no brainer. as for music this year.. found a sick cd i wanna share. by yelawolf ///
