hahaha that Yelawolf mixtape is dope. particularly speak her sex and good to go, and trunk muzik. I think those are the names but can't remember, I've been driving around with them for a while but wasn't sure if anyone would be into lol. anyways, I'm not sure, but I know good to go is a relatively higher note kinda song, while speak her sex is pretty low. I guess either system will get loud on either song, but then again what do I know. when I go home I can just how high and low each get, but I know speak her sex is a song that I feel more than hear. good to go is the other way around. hillbilly rappers are sick

eg. The guys that do 155 @ 60hz might not be able to hit 145 @ 35hz. Not to mention damage their speakers trying. This is sort of why tuning lower for music helps make music sound better by reproducing more of the frequency range. Now if the 155 guy found a "music" song that uses his frequency he would obviously win hands down. Make that 155 guy play a song tuned way lower than his tuning and the guy doing 145's tuned low might just win....

sure all the air around u moves in mine like a windtunnel, but his is intense to sit in.

by ur deffinition higher tuned spl cars are louder than low tuned dailys IMO..but everyone feels bass diffrently, so who knows.

This is exactly why I made this thread.

If you were to pick 100 people to choose any song of choice, and play it in the daily setup, and the SPL setup, i truly believe that the daily setup would play music much much better

better or louder? which one is it sir?

also dont mix 155+ and one note wonders. there are many one note wonders that wish they could reach 155+, also there are alot of musical set ups that can get into 155 db range.

like the A-Team truck for example, can play music at over 160 db's, but can also be a one note wonder at 164 db's.

the question itself is lacking, let me tell you why.

you can take a 160 db 60hz "one note wonder" and simply tune it down to 35-40hz range while still achieving 155 db, but at that point that is a no longer one note wonder, or is it?

the beauity of spl is that it is easily convertable to whatever you want while still remain loud, whereas weak *** 145 db is just that. nothing you can do to do that to gain 10 db's.

I understand EXACTLY what you mean. I know that the question is pretty vague...

Lets say both cars CAN NOT be changed. You have a street B car that does 155 @ 59hz and a daily pounder that does 146 @ mid 40hz on music

What do you members believe will play louder, or should I say, which would you believe plays music the best?

depends on type of music.

59hz is high. let's say 52 hz.

the louder set up will play louder. the better tuned one will play it in the way that is more pleasing to the human ear.

I think Joell and Don should fight. J-49's on a tone I think, so my guess is somewhere in the 40's for music, D-153 at 64 hz, then we can settle this
