He tries to log in and it come up "your IP is currently banned in our forums.You may not post or registar on our site.Feel free to email us if you have any questions."Then there is no link for an email to reply to.

Personal note fromT8T....yep...sounds booted to me.......

Ok...we think we have found the root of the problem down to his computer....but not for sure yet....

B2B just sent me a message using LBKC login...it seems to work fine from his computer....

Sorry about all the mix up....but see his/our side of things too.......

I have meet alot of people at all sorts of comps, Brown Colt is an awesome guy...he is a true old school die hard. His opinion counts in my book!

We have narrowed it down now to a sort of system error....

Please look back at posting titled"user got jacked?"....

For some reason,the system is trying to log LBKC in on the same IP...even though he uses a a simliar but differnt IP...

What can be done to resolve this problem asap?

He was not banned or booted - but thank you for jumping to conclusions.

The IP was banned as it was associated with the scammer from the other thread.

Shaw must use some sort of different system though - any other cable modem I've heard of is either static (wherein your ip is always the same) or it's dynamic - it changes over time.

The scammer had the same IP for over a month, so I assumed it was static. I see the LBKC has had the same IP for a long time as well.

Does that mean that LBKC = scammer? I doubt it and certainly hope not. Is there anyone else on shaw cable from Calgary? Surely everyone doesn't have the same IP?!?

ArcAngel is having the same problem as LBKC, hes also a Shaw customer

Okay me and ArcAngel figured it out, all Robs gotta do is unplug his modem for a few mins and it should reset his IP and he should be able to log back in....it worked for ArcAngel so it "should" work for LBKC.
