The only problem I see is that you have a random ported box to work with a random sub. That is a big problem in my eye as ported boxes need to be of a specific size and have a specific tune per sub… a ported box doesn’t work universally with any sub…unlike a sealed box which is much more forgiving. I wouldn’t imagine it will sound to good. However I think the equipment itself is fine.

My dad's Kubota tractor came with Ultimate speakers in it and bassworx isn't just sub boxes anymore (for the past few years) they have some decent sized amps and reasonable sounding drivers... I saw 4 x 3000D's do a 161!

iverson03tj The flee market is unfortunetly over. Its just a one weekend event. It is a huge event though that only comes in the spring and fall.
And you should be able to buy a bassworks box almost anywhere. Best buy and future shop and what not.

AAAAAAA Ya I know and will probably build a box for it someday during the summer. But for $50 it saves me some time as I work 12 hour shifts and dont have a real shop can only work outside. But I did build a sub box for behind my seat in my truck with a JBL in it and it sounded loud for a crappy box. (Well I thought was crappy lol) I built it to some odd cubic foot (cant remember exactly) not ported and it sounded amazing so I may build one for this sub someday. Also I only have a table saw to cut lol its hard to get the cuts straight.

sx4life I dont see how a motor would fall off from paint? But we can only wait and see. And I guess you missed the part about 1 year parts and labour aka waurentee. So I have a year to blow the motor off it. Lol

Sinemeup hell if a Kubota tractor has ultimate they are certainly good enough for my jetta lmao. I bet my jetta was actually cheaper then your tractor. I know ultimate isnt the greatest but like I said before I have a coulple tens made by them and I liked them. lol

Someday when I am making a real wage I will certainly upgrade but like said before for $365 that I had I got a too par or under par sub box (it will hold my sub regardless lol someday I will make a new one if that makes you guys feel better. lol just need someone to draw me up some good specs.) I got a 500 watts rms amp (well close too it hopefully lol. but hell if they are in tractors.) And a huge sub pushing out 3000 watts. (Hell even if its not that big it will still be certainly louder then 2 tens worth 600 watts 300 watts rms getting pushed by a sony amp lol.)

Buy what you can afford right? lol

They may not the biggest company or as good as DD but 99% of ppl atleast heard of them LOL.

O and from what I seen at many comps acouple years ago, there were many ppl running there amps like 1200.1 as they work decent and are very cheap
I know of their boxes ... I never knew they actually sold subs to put in them ... that's what I meant.
