what size cap do I need??

Hey guys I am wanting to know what size capacitor I need t run with the fllowing system thanks.

Phoenix gold xeon 4 channel
alpine mrd 500
12" hertz energy sub
hertz Hi energy 6.5 components
hertz Hi energry 6.5 in the rear
7" indash player

You don't necessarily need a cap, what makes you think you do? What vehicle is this system going into?

Its going into a caddy. I just thought a cap would offer some better sound quality.

the $ for a cap can go to something better .
but if you are sold on one 1000amp to one 1f cap

If you are running a properly set-up system in a Caddy, you will not need a cap unless you go crazy power-wise. The electrical system is already upgraded to handle all the toys in the car and should be fine with the equipment listed.

Having said that, and being a big Caddy fan......make sure you do a nice install....or else....

Hope it goes well, some pics when it's done would be appreciated....

I wont be going cheap on the install its all gona be professionally done. I will post some pics to. Should be in a 2-4wks. wana wait till some more snow is gone

im running a 2500d (2500watts) and a H2 orion sub with 0awg and big 3 plus a 200 amp alt but even before the alt i had no electrical problems
