Making a box for one 12 inch sub measurements are going to be 17inches X 17inches X 13inches. going to put a kenwood 12 inch blue sub in it and later on goign to get a kicker comp VR in the box. what size port do you think i shoudl use. kicker thinks i shoudl put in a square port 12.5 X 2 X 20 inches long but i think it would be better to put in two round ports like 2 " PVC 9 inches long. what do you guys think?

2" ports are pretty small and may casue unwanted port noise.
Are your measuments inside or outside?
Why would you not go with what kicker recomended?

cause it would reduce airspace by alot. i am actually thinking now that i will enlarge the box and make it exacially to the specifications that kicker recomends as well as the port and just have one 12 insted of planning on getting 2 subs.
