Father yuli is on to something, don't call it a name that makes sense, just make sure to use a name that sounds really cool like:

In fact you could call it a different name each time you refer to it, and each time choosing one that sounds cooler then the previous until you reach maximum coolness!! hehe

SPL...how much more basic do you need to get?
Do you want to give it some broke *** name like "Bass Competition, Boom Blasting Show" or some other lame *** name.. SPL..plain and simple....
If people ask what SPL means then it's a perfect segway into explaining what it is and thus talking about the shows and what not.. trying to dumb it down anymore is pointless...
