i wouldnt go for 15, honeslty i think a decent 12 in a sealed will be great for u, and if wanting more u can add but i think that would be a great start

Look at power handeling, linear excursion, and the box required...
Designing the box is the difficult part.... chances are you want something with extension down to 20-25hz with a Q of .707 or greater which is considered critically damped with maximum extension... you need that in a box that will fit your car.... as a general rule of thumb higher Q is more accurate as far as damping goes... but at the loss of transient response.... Single 10" in the proper box will give you good output..... more then enuf...... although it is vehicle/installation dependent. A good set of 6.5" components will give you the midbass you need as well. We recommend to our customers the DLS magnesium line-up for the hard rock/punk/metal sound because of the characteristics of that line and that they are LOUD !!
