What Subs?
Nearing completetion for my system. I just havent decided on what subs to buy. I have a us amps MD2.
Thinking either 2 12" MTX 8500's dvc or 1 JLw7 12". Maybe a pair of Kicker L7's maybe a eclipse titanium 15 if i could find one. id like to spend right around 6-700 for whatever i get. But a little more could be added.
I will build the box built to spec, and sealed. Box size is not an issue. My entire trunk in my civic can be used.
Thanks,
Kyle.

The w7 would be pretty sweet. Don't go kicker if you are going ported. I assume you are looking for good sq since you are going sealed. The eclipse would also be a good choice. How much power does that amp make?

First decide what size and number of drivers you want to run. When using the same model of driver and proper airspace is achievable two 12's will be louder than a single 15. There's a big difference between two 12" 8500's and a single 12W7.
Are you stuck on running sealed and if so why if you have the entire trunk to use? Some driver's work better in sealed enclosure's than others.
Strictly SPL or is this a street beater? How good SQ do you want? Exactly how much airspace can you get (a solid number is good info)?
Oh and whether it's the lane or the street with 1500rms from that MD2 your 9515 Drew will not be louder than a pair of 12L7's. Not to knock you whoring your forsale ad or anything.

Dd3515
You could always try 2 12's DD3512...they'll take as much power as you can give..
The DD9515 is a wicked sub...it is infact dam fine..i would buy it except i'll be getting a few soon...

I'm not sure if he has enought power for a pair of 3512s. Maybe a single 12 or 15?

Maybe one then..
Maybe 1 then...1 15" DD3515...or probably 2 12's DD1012..i had 1 10" DD1010 it sounds lightweight..but i pushed 500watts rms into it..it still hasn't blown...and it rocks....but i would recommend the DD3515 it rocks...

I personally think a 9515 would sound great off 1500 rms. It's only rated for 1200 rms, so I don't see why it wouldn't perform well. And let me tell you that subs sounds fantastic in a daily driver box, loud and clear.
