what would complete my system??/opinions of JBL

so im brand new to this forum and would like to get some opinions/input on my system

In my last car (1998 neon) i was running an older panasonic deck that im not sure of the model, i had a JBL gto 5355 amp running a JBL grand touring series 12 inch sub and just the stock speaker set because i didnt plan on keeping the car. and in my opinion the bass sounded amazing and obviously the rest sounded like crap because the speakers were pretty much all blown.

in my new car, i would like to get a clear sounding system with lots of punch. If possible, i want to keep my current sub and amp as i would like to spend somewhere between 700-900 dollars on a new deck, sub, and replacement speakers for the stock ones.

what quality would you say the sub and amp are? and is it worth my time to get a second 12 inch jbl, or is it crap? also, what type of speakers would work well for me?

Jbl makes products from average...gto line, to excellent gti line, and some are considered very high end...660 gti components, amps, and gti subwoofers.

the car model is a 1995 buick lesabre custom, currently i have nothing installed in it besides stock, i have a JBL gt series 12 inch (thats all i can find on it) i have a jbl gto 5355 amp, and enough wiring to wire up anything else.

id like to put a second sub in, a battery, a capacitor (if needed), and new speakers for the stock enclosures. as well as a new head unit (with bluetooth if possible)

just not sure what to look for and if a second amp is needed, brands, models, etc....
