if you could chose any 6.5" speaker, what would it be? with 50-60 WRMS, and a budget of up too $300 with tax?

Can't go wrong with those AVIs (great stuff all around).

Honestly for that price range you should be able to find quite a few descent comp sets.
Maybe look at

CDT
** Here's a nicely discounted set **

Focal
** For instance 165Ks **

You may want to check out MB Quart (not sure which to recommend however)
Infinity, Polk, Boston Acoustics, Image Dynamics, & Adire Audio.

Go have a listen to whatever is available to you that you can.
Hit a few shows and see if you can hear what you want.

just heard some image dynamics CTX coax's, and they're in your price range, and have a very nice sound to them.

You might be able to find a set of Alpine Type X's for that price. If you can they are definately an awesome set for the $.

Are you looking for a brand name, or good sound quality? There are lots of great sounding speakers out there, which one will sound good to YOU with YOUR equipment is up to you.
