Exclamation What's better for wire protection

Doing the Big 3 next week and I would like to add more protection to the new 2 gauge welding cable going in.

Princess Auto has Split-flex wire loom on sale.

Do you recommend another type of product for my application?

Thanks

J

Unless you have SQ competition or car shows in mind the cable doesn’t really need it. It might be nice to colour coordinate if that’s important to you. The point of loom or tec-flex is to add abrasion protection during installation similar to installing cable in a building or on a ship. I have never seen it as a necessity since I use grommets and don’t do too much damage during installation.
