What's this CD player worth?

I'm looking at buying an Alpine CDA-9833 from a friend, and I was wondering what it's worth. It's from 2004, and has a couple issues. The MP3 reading is fairly slow, and the volume **** is glitchy. it sometimes wont go up or down, sometimes it will go down when you turn it up, and sometimes it does the opposite of that. The face is scratched a bit, about the average for being the age.

9833 in like new or new cond would probably be up to 200.
more like 150 for a used one in good cond, i think i've seen them go around that.
with the issues there is, i don't even know...

also i've seen some in for sale, haven't checked the price.

mp3 has been slow as hell on my alpines back in the day too, 9835/9853. so it's not an issue per se.

might be a dumb question, but has your friend tried resetting the deck? if not, maybe some contact cleaner in the volume **** pot?

well I got it for 80.. I'll probably take it to a shop and have them look at it..

It'll be nice to go active for cheap.
