first off, sorry if i should have posted this in a different forum.

i have a Rockford bd1000a1 and JL Audio 15W3 sub from like 2001. there both in used, but excellent shape.

i've been out of car audio since like 2001 and not even sure what's fair pricing. im guessing 1000 watt sub amps aren't quite as pricy as they used to be.

300-400 for the amp too much?
200 for the sub?

PS, think it's a bad idea to do a under the front seat 8" sealed sub in a fiberglass box? i really want up front bass ...

 

check out the buy/sell section to get a better idea but i think your price is a bit steep for the age of that gear.


about the subs under front seats...

ive seen this done in 2 seater sports cars bu ive never seen anyone do it in a car with backseat..i prefer bass from the rear tho

 

Nothing wrong with putting a sub under your seat.

As for the gear I would say $250 tops for the amp ($175-200 would be average) and $150 tops for the sub (less than $100 average).
