Yup, nothing like buying cheap neons, having to pay for the shipping and then having them either not work or work for a few days when you get them. Save up a little more money and buy a good name brand neon or led kit from a local dealer that will give you replacement warranty. I as a dealer will no longer sell cheap neons, they are more headaches than they are worth.

 

Well, Mr. Speedo's shop is about 4 blocks from mine. They're a full service dyno shop, selling neon and crap as a sideline. They're a customer of mine.

Replacement warranty? I'm sure it's not a problem.

 

Sorry dude, I was not referring to you or the link that you posted, matter of fact I did not even see it. Nonetheless there is no guarantee from most retailers about the "grade" of neon that is carried. Most of it is rebadged under insert brand name of the month here and sold as the hot new neon of the month that you just have to have. Seen it, done it, sent it all back. There are some good manufacturers of Neon in this industry, but in 99% of cases it is twice the $ of the cheap stuff, wonder why?

 

Probably the same reason that Orion speakers cost so much more than Kraco speakers...
