salty.... your missin out man, I love AVI.... The BSM's are worth every penny and then some.... Heck even a set of XLDirects or Express' over a set of Alpine sps 171a's (mid and tweet set.. right) is the way I'd go anyday.. Example....customer came in and had an ICBC claim had a set of infinity reference series.... no clue what model... I tossed in a pair of the AVI XLExpress' the kid said night and day difference, the mid bass is nice and punchy and the highs from the tweets soooooooo crisp... he's one happy guy.....

 

I wish AVI would redo their website, just checked it out, poorly laid out. They used to have some more specs and info on the different lines, unless I am missing something..... ^^^ The set you are talking about, are those the XL 160's?
