solder + heat shrink [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

crimp caps are not bad though, and it does seem like a better connection between the wires as you are twisting them. Makes the harness look a little messy, but it works.

Speaking of soldering, does anyone have a good link to point me to so I can do it "right"? With actual pictures?? I can't seem to get the hang of it and figure I am doing something wrong.. as for the "seams" on butt connectors (which I use all the time), what are you referring to? Thanks..

I just twist wires together with duct(DUKK?? ) tape, or scotch tape and Krazy Glue when that runs out..... [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]

i do believe thats the MECP certified method.

butt connectors AND crimp hats both suck. solder tape then heatshrink is the only way to go. by the way, how many knew that you are supposed to solder the crimp connectors after they were crimped? how bout soldering the battery cables too?
