just got a 4gb ipod and i wanna hook it u to my Alpine 9835, i was told i need this piece(KCA-420i) to do it. I know its a older piece so it may be hard to find. Does anyone know where i can find that piece in the gta

 

You can try Number 1 Sound, Kromer Radio and Auto Sound Design for starters

One word of caution though, the 420i may not be compatible with your new iPod... so many Apple software changes since that adapter originally came out. Maybe ask to try it first?

possible solution if you cant find the ipod cable...
if your deck has an AUX function, just buy a nice long RCA - 3.5mm jack cable

 

the 9835 does have a aux input. I have a generation 1 ipod mini i beleive, so its not one of the newer ones

 

i have one kicking around.
only thing i dont have is the ai-net cable for it.
