Hey all, I am possibly looking to re-coil one of my 6.5" mid-bass speakers that I bought about a year ago off of this forum where the seller fked me over and sold me a set of Digital Design speakers one of the speakers with a half shot coil in it.... Has a slight crackle to the speaker unless slight pressure is applid to the cone... said he was going to get t re-coiled for me but was a bogus deal and it never happened... so i was curious how much does it cost to get a speaker re-coiled, and where can this be done?

Speakers are Digital Designs 6.5' mid-bass...

 

that actually sounds like the same problem I had with 2 of my 4 DD 6x9s
They just need a voice coil re-alignment. I had a local music shop (musical instruments) do it for me, and they charged me thirty bucks.

hmm okay.... well... wonder where i can get that done around here lol....

 

Just contacted DD to se what they have to say.... Cause i dont know where i can send the speaker for repair... I am located in London... If anyone can help me out LMK....
