Who doing something interesting ?!?!?!?

How about a thread with no bitchin or whining

What is everyone up to. Anyone doing something exciting that their stoked about ???

I hope that either today or tomorrow at the latest the motor goes into my E30 M3 I'm restoring. Been a LOOOOOONG road but getting close to finishing it. I haven't even thought about any audio for it yet. There may be none.... depending on how sweet the thing sounds. Muuuuuuuaaaaah

Team Shadow is now actively looking for a new sponsor. Robert and I are rebuilding one of our SPL vehicles. no more demoing and no more watching from the side lines. Full boar spl or nothing......lines we are looking at

treo....dd....re....focal.....yeah yeah i know what your thinking. how does focal fall into it.

there are very good product out there and we have very good electrical. i mean very good electrical. we pride ourselves on making high spl with product that is not intented to be loud. our last car we had class ab amps and sq speakers. we hit 170.2db with this gear. just imagine what we can achieve with spl gear backed with serious power.

so now the only question we have to deal with is....do we upgrade the shadow and go for advance....or upgrade the civic and go for ultimate. no stopping till we hit 1st place in canada.

we got unlimited batteries and can fit 16 batteries in either. we got enough space to fit our high output alternators(up to three 300 amp monsters).

we love to show off our cars and we love to make maximum spl from minimum equipment. we shall post pics whenever possible and well see you all at finals.

I've been working on a Jeep Commander for the last month, just a small project is all. Pat, you need to come over for one weekend and lend a hand dude.

Talking

Well, I picked up 6 sheets of wood for the Hearse last Sunday and have started the back end of it. I'm about 75% complete on the radio mount as well (car didn't come with a radio oddly )

New carb should be going on this or next weekend as well.

Hopefully the end of May will see the back end done, the stereo electrical done, and me hauling home a palatte full of audio gear to stuff in it.

Getting the old truck fitted with some new speakers.

5.1 ( so far there is 4.0 EXT component in each A pillar ) EXT 4.0 set in each of the 2 rear doors/ Each rear door also houses 2 amps each.
Duel 6" mids in each front door + a centre channel composed of 1/2 of a 6" EXT component set in the dash ( dash is gutted like a fish )
Funky new console, I couldn’t give up the bucket seats (there covered in Roush leather) so the new console will now move through the bench seat and house some x overs and other nifty gadgets.
Using the PHX 700 to run it and the rest is Macrom products and wiring.

Everything is covered in suede / vinyl / exterior paint combo to break up the lines.

New carpet /shaved doors /power tounno cover.

To come is 22's/air ride/ finish shaving and welding (tailgate ect) and paint.

Lets see if I stay committed once I see the bill

My pics are being posted on the12volt.com site. If I have the time to learn how to post them here, I will do so. Link for now if that is alright with the admin. and mods.

Todays task was getting the vinyl applied, finishing the headrests, multiple price checks as there were girls absolutely everywhere today. We'll be uploading more pics soon. Jeff (Velocity Motors) is here to help me for a couple of days as it pretty much just me here working on this job. The customer also wants a major home theatre at the same time so I found myself painting his living room and hallways at 3:00am last night. White walls and a 133" screen does not exactly make the best viewing environment.

Paul, I was going to donate my 1" clear lexan to your project, it seems that I now have a home for it in this Commander, sorry dude.
