Who has better subs?
Have been looking into things for a while when it comes to subs and am wondering what's better. I currently have a sundown 1500d and was looking into some subs to put the power to good use. I'm going to run 1/0 gauge to the back (bought 30 feet of the stuff from knukonceptz). Just in your own opinion, and be honest, is the Fi Q series better then the RD Alpha Series v.2? I am looking into this for more or less audio sound quality. Throwing up numbers seemed like a good idea at first, but who am i kidding? i still gotta live with the thing. I need a sub with a good frequency response and nothing too expensive so no one pm me about dd stuff because it's way to costly when you live in Canada. I am not cheap, i am just not looking into getting something that has minimal sound difference at a huge steep in price.

remember youre better off to have an expensive hipowered amp and cheap subs than the other way around look at the Hertz gear for sound quality fi audio for shear spl, what size are you looking for, what kind of car and how much room are you willing to sacrifice

really? so you're saying a JBL/Crown 6000 watt amp (about $6000-8000.00) and Pyramid subwoofers ($100.00) is better than say a reasonably priced, high powered amp and really good subwoofers like RE xxx18($1500-2000.00) and Hifonics xxv maxximus ($2500.00)????

mach 5 would do the job... Fi is alright, however for my person I would do the BTL. DD isnt the cheapest sub, but there is a reason for that!
There is always TF1 the price is respectable... and have the numbers to back them selves up!
