Who would do a 20"?

I have received samples in the past and personally feel they are over the edge. Heck, 18" units are too big for many.

What's your take on something like this?

Best,
Mark

Hi Mark. Personally, it's too big whether in the car or house. But I'm sure some of the SPL guys would love a 20"

If I could acquire one at a goooood price I'd try it out in the bed of my truck on an angle or something.

I would go for 4 18"s like on that Dr. Pepper Commercial.

Anyways, What is the price for a 20"?

Mark would this be a 20" like the proto you sent me or something along the lines of the MAW18? The 20 I have sounds very good in a large PA enclosure but it just won't hit the lows that your MAW18's do. I think if you can make a MAW18 version of the 20" though you may sell enough to make it worth your while. As usual price would be the main deciding factor...but a lot of people go for wow factor and a niec 20" would definetly score poionts there. IMHO there just hasn't been a decent subwoofer made for a car that is bigger than 18"..doesn't mean it can't be done though.

Yeah, it sure is a large size. I would estimate ~$250 - $300 per unit. A person would only need one tho..
