I would have to consider it for my future home theater subwoofer, although I woulnd't want an abnormally huge box.

Yeah, it would probably be simply too large for car audio use. Most definately 'aw factor' potential, but not practical.

I may however just design a couple of prototypes for the heck of it tho...

well..might be too big for most people..but i have a full sized van..thats like a living room wheels!..give me 4!

But I dont like being in a wall class (woofer backfiring).

Do a single upfiring 20" sub with the port to the back, that'd be cool-*** and would keep it low enough.

Guys, are you willing to give up your existing sub system for this thing? Viper and Hott, I thought everything was a-o-k...

I'm still in talks with the OEM about parts, so it may be awhile. However, if there's enough interest, we could arrange something. I probably won't hear from the OEM for at least a week. After that, we will discuss this *much* further in the Mach 5 vendor forum...
