I own two car audio stores, Forbidden Audio Ltd. Courtenay 1996, Naniamo 2003. I am a current RCMP recruit. (car audio is fun but maybe time for a change)
I have been directly involved and employed in car audio and audio in general since 1988. I wear many hats, as a business owner, installer, cabinet maker, and a teacher.
I do not compete myself, I find more fulfillment is helping a customer with their project.

 

1. What do you do for a living ? - Work for Flint Energy Services

2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? - An extremly expensive hobby and mental release!

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ? - Since about 92 but not exstensivly until around 95

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long ? - Nope but plan on it as soon as i get a new car

2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? - Avid DIY Hobby/Passion/Obsession.

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ? - Got bitten by the bug after hearing an acquaintances system circa 1986. First real system in my car in 1987.

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long ? - No. No plans to at this time, but would never say never.

2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? - Simply a hobby

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ? - Since high school, probably 85-86.

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long ? Nope

 

1. What do you do for a living ? - I work part time in a car audio store mainly doing sales, but learning as I go. I go to university so not much spare time.

2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? - I dont have a tremendous involvement, I know the basics of installing but I am by no means "extremely knowledgable" in installations. You learn everyday!

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ? - Since high school, When my best friends dad got a system (6/7yrs)

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long ? Dont compete, but attend shows and whatnot.

2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? - its a job and i don't mind it

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ? - started interest oh back probably close to 1979 1980
started my business in 1985

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long ? i did 10 15 years ago and don't do it anymore i enjoy my time off

 

1. What do you do for a living ? Work at a tech support call center (Yes, I'm the guy you talk to when you have a PC problem. I sit around in front of a PC and get paid to on CCA.

2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? Primary secular hobby, may someday be my living.

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ? - Since 2001 personally, if I gave you a year professionally I would be lying.

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long ? - Yes, amateur class SPL. 3 shows, first time with music only and I sucked real bad. Other 2 shows I came 2nd place both times in 1 sub category.

3)since 1992. currently studying the theoretical basis of sound for personal satisfaction.
4) no. will someday just to see how well i'd do on a system completely done by myself.
