^^^^wrong.
In 2000, the new VRx series consisted of no less than 6 completely different amplifiers. Some 20 odd signal modules for those amps was also released.
Since 2001, at least 2 new amplifiers per year have been released boulstering already strong lines. While most people focus on the VRx line as a reference product from Audison, their LRx and SRx lines offer a strong dollar/performance ratio.
Recently, the Thesis was released. This is the culmination of about 5 years of R&D into new materials technology and a radical new engineering approach. NO other car audio manufacturer on the planet has invested this much time developing a single product.
Audison offers product to anyone with $400 to $13,000 in their pocket. To date, this is the widest range of product EVER offered (to be actually sold) to the public.

I think that in a few years Audison will be a "flash in the pan" but will still make good quality amplifiers. What I mean by that is the whole "flavour of the month" that runs rampant in higher end car audio. Lets face it, it has always happened in the past and will conrinue to do so in the future, car audio type people like the latest and greatest, and after awhile another company will be the "in" brand.

Nothing there I didn't know. I have been familiar with Audison since 1993.
I don't dislike the brand either - I just don't see the big deal. Like Dereck I have seen the rise and lull of SoundStream, Linear Power, PPI, Xtant, Zapco, uDimension, Arc, and a few others, and even owned a few. All of these at one time or another were the 'amp to have' so Audison is just the current flavour.
hmm, off the top of my head...

dont forget the f#1 processor , and was Udimension ever an "in" brand . i totally agree that car audio is cyclical in its flavour of the day mentality, very few brands, if any, have been considered always "in" over their entire lifespan. audison this year, zapco next. the audison is no better than most companies best amps, zapco czk, brax, sinfoni etc.....makes me wish that there was good western distribution of zapco in canada, that stuff would cause an epidemic in the okanagon

I believe that Dukk os right. There will always be the "in" product. It doesn't mean that other products out there are any less. Buy an amplifier because its well built as well as a solid performer.
I have the old PPI Arts (.2) and yes they were the amp to have in the mid 90s. I like them because they are solid reliable amps. I also appreciated their looks. I though they looked awesome and I still do. They may not be the amp to have now but I don't really care. I'd be willing to put them up against any new amp on the market today and I'd think they would hold their own.
If you love Audison's products thats cool...Just enjoy it!!!
