In doing some very unscientific background research on ZAPCO amps and such, I noticed a trend...

NOBODY CARRIES IT!

I called like every audio shop in the Yellow pages, just to get a price/availability check, and NONE of them could even refer me anywhere...

I found a dealer in Syracuse who I finally spoke with...but whil eevry GTA dealer I phoned had good things to say about the products, no one knew where to buy it in Toronto...

Why is this?
If the product is so good, as good as its reputation, then why doesnt anyone carry it?

A few shops said they USEd to carry it, and one guy even told me that ZAPCO went under (untrue, I do believe? prove me wrong though)....

I think its weird, this situation...
maybe I was just phoning the wrong places, though..

thoughts....???

Ok, I'm joking. Just trying to start a reverse rumor for once.

 

Gemsen is the distributor, and they handle the Zapco repairs. I have had nothing but excellent service from them.

 

Expensive. I BELIEVE Radioactive can still get zapco for you, even though they dont have it in the store. Try 905-631-9800, and ask for Lee.

im going out on a limb here but i do not believe gemsen carry zap anymore.... maybe dave can shed some light on this...
