It would have to be a dvc 4 ohm to be able to be wired to 2 ohms. If it is a svc sub, it would need to be a 2ohm svc (which are few and far between).

You can use a distro block IF the wire running to the battery is of sufficient guage to carry the current. Two big amps on a small wire = no.

yeah i know but, is it possible to just have 2 runs of a smaller gauge wire to two amps instead of one big gauge to dist. then 2 smaller?

and ,i need more help with sub wiring

i want two(2) one (1) channel amps ( 400 watts rms @ 2 ohms)

and 2 DVC subs

is it possible to wire one sub to each amp @ 2 ohms for 800 watts rms ?

or would it be better getting this

http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=MRP-M1000&lang=en&tab=F

where it puts out 600 rms @ 4 ohms and 1000 @ 2 ohms.. or am i reading that wrong :S?

You are far better off with one amp over two. I know that I have a 800w rms amp in my shop that coupled with the subs you want will do exactly what you need. I will PM you pricing on it tomorrow.
